WELL-BEING AND RESILIENCE
OUR “WHOLE-CHILD” APPROACH
At Colegio Menor, we strongly believe in a “whole child” approach to education, so our students’ emotions and social skills are just as important as academic subjects. All our students perform “mindfulness” exercises during their school day, for example, which helps them with their concentration and improves calmness.
As part of our warm and supportive school community, our excellent counselling department provides personal guidance for the well-being and resilience of our students. Our specialists have the highest-quality resources and information for our students, parents, and teachers.
We all grow together and because of this, 96% of our parents say their child is happy at Colegio Menor Samborondón.
GIVING BACK TO HELP OTHERS
Our students know they have many opportunities at Colegio Menor to make a positive difference in the communities around them. Our students that are part of the Junior National Honors Society (JNHS) and National Honors Society (NHS) lead many community service programs.
With the help of our Student Government and the support of our Menor community, our students are constantly fundraising and helping in events for important causes such as building new schools; preparing food baskets for the less fortunate; cleaning beaches; and participating in a plastic-recycling contest, among other things.
