Relocations Process Testimonial

“I was hosted by a colleague and welcomed in by her family as they helped me find an apartment and get settled. Her family continues to make me feel like a part of their family.””.

– Johann Qua Hiansen (Samborondón)

“Relocating to a new continent is not easy. There are many moving parts that can be complicated if you don´t have support! Luckily, the Human Resources department at Colegio Menor truly CARES about their new hires, and go above and beyond in helping the relocation process feel less stressful. We are lucky to have received extensive documents detailing life in Ecuador before we even booked flights, not to mention the countless in-person meetings, lunches, and conversations once we arrived. We´ve had stellar assistance in many tasks: from obtaining a cellphone and plan, setting up bank accounts, finding an apartment, to even learning Spanish. The women I have worked with during this transition have made me feel listened to and supported in a way that is unique and speaks to their caring professionalism. Colegio Menor is doing so much right with their onboarding process for new hires and truly sets people like me up for success in beautiful Ecuador.”
